Their dedicated team offers medical support, pain management, emotional care, counselling, and dignity for patients during the most challenging times.
We support ACCORD because their work touches so many lives, delivering comfort and compassion when it’s needed most.
Brightest Star is a Scottish charity offering specialised bereavement support to families experiencing the unimaginable loss of a child.
They provide counselling, crisis support, family services, and help parents navigate the emotional and practical aftermath of losing a loved one far too soon.
Their strength, empathy and dedication to grieving families is extraordinary — and we are honoured to help their work continue.

We don’t believe in charging for every wee repair or adjustment. If your glasses need tightened, straightened or brought back to life, we’re always happy to help where we can.
Many customers choose to leave a small donation instead, with funds supporting charities & local causes including ACCORD Hospice. It’s never expected but every contribution is genuinely appreciated and helps support fantastic work within our community.
We like to keep busy outside the practice too.
Throughout the year, Team Spex Appeal takes part in sponsored & fundraising events and community challenges to help support charities & causes close to our hearts, whether it’s miles walked, raffles held, donations raised in practice or community events, we’re proud to support organisations including ACCORD Hospice along the way.
